The program’s goal is to support students and their parents in completing the process of applying for federal and state financial aid programs for postsecondary education programs (including Trade Schools) by starting the process before senior year and breaking down the process into small, manageable tasks.
The first event of the program is the 11th grade Student Workshop being held on Friday, February 13th during the school day. Eleventh grade students will have the opportunity to complete the first step in creating their Financial Aid Account.
The students will need their school issued laptops, a personal email, and their Social Security number. Please note, it should also be emphasized that this information is not collected. It's only being used to create the FSA ID. Any personal identification information is not shared, nor collected.
*Future event dates and times will be announced as the school year progresses.* For further questions, please contact the Brocton Central School Guidance office or email Miss Ashley Zambotti (alzambotti@broctoncsd.org).

Get ready to show your school spirit next week, February 9th- 13th, where we will be spreading kindness, connection, and care all week long!
Each day has a fun theme and a powerful message reminding everyone that YOU matter and YOU belong!
From bright colors, school pride to comfy clothes and purple on Friday, this week is all about lifting each other up!
Dress up, participate, and help make Brocton Central School District a place where everyone feels seen and supported.đź’ś

Both Miss Zenns and Miss Zambotti consistently go "the extra mile" to support our students’ personal growth, academic success, and overall well-being. Their unwavering commitment to providing guidance and support has made a profound and lasting impact on our students and their families.
Please join us in thanking Miss Zenns and Miss Zambotti for their tireless work and for the invaluable contributions they make to our school community every day.

This month, we highlight the importance of career and technical education (CTE) in preparing students for successful futures. Through various programs and initiatives through the Brocton Central School District and Erie 2-BOCES, students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills that are critical in today's fast-paced and ever-evolving job market.
Our goal is to inspire students to explore various career options and understand the value of technical skills in conjunction with academic knowledge.
Join us in celebrating the achievements of our students and educators in CTE, and let's work together to build a brighter future for all!

Dear Friends, Partners, and Community Supporters,
At Prevention Works, community support makes everything we do possible. With the start of 2026 in full swing, we’re excited to share two important fundraisers that directly support our prevention, education, and outreach programs, and we invite you to be a part of them. We invite you to join us and share our fundraisers. Fundraisers like these allow us to continue providing vital prevention programs for youth, families, and adults throughout our community. Whether you attend an event, purchase a discount card, share our message, or encourage others to participate, your support truly makes a difference.
Thank you for standing with Prevention Works and helping us build a healthier, stronger community.

Krystal, Edrielys, Damiaon, and Ava came back down to the computer lab to help Mrs. Zappie teach other other class of first graders. Mrs. Zappie is so thankful - she couldn't have done it without them!

10th grade students may now pick up a registration form for Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered through BOCES for the 2026-2027 school year. Forms are available in the Brocton Central School Guidance Office.
Any student interested in applying to a CTE program must complete and submit the registration form no later than February 3.
Please note that completion of a registration form does not guarantee acceptance into a CTE program. Placement is determined through a committee selection process based on the following criteria:
-Academic grades
-Overall progress toward graduation
-Attendance
-Behavioral record
-Student interest in the program
-Post-secondary plans
Eligible 10th-grade students will participate in a field trip to tour the E2CCB Campus, where they will learn more about the available CTE programs.
Please review the attached information for additional details about the CTE programs: https://www.e2ccb.org/programs/career-technical-education/
If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Guidance Office at (716) 792-2192 or email Ms. Ashley Zambotti at alzambotti@broctoncsd.org or Mrs. Laurie Skinner at lskinner@broctoncsd.org.
