The elementary STEM Club met for the first time Friday morning. The club, which is composed of students in grades 3-5, focused on teamwork by working together in two STEM challenges. They had to save Sam the Worm by rescuing him from a capsized "boat" and getting his "life saver" on him, the catch was they could only use one paperclips to do so. Then they played Suspend with a partner and attempted to build the tallest tower. These STEM thinking and team building skills are preparing them to compete in the 2024 STEM Wars.
