Today, on National Substitute Educator Appreciation Day, we would like to take a moment to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each one of you who plays a vital role in the education and well-being of our students. Whether you are a substitute principal ensuring smooth school operations, a certified or uncertified teacher guiding students through lessons, a teaching assistant or teacher aide supporting classroom initiatives, or a vital member of our clerical staff, your contributions do not go unnoticed. The compassion, resilience, and creativity you bring to your roles are essential to providing a consistent and nurturing learning environment.
We also want to recognize our incredible substitute food service workers who nourish our students, the cleaning staff who maintain a safe and healthy environment, and our bus drivers, bus aides, and bus driver trainers who ensure that our students arrive safely and ready to learn. Your hard work creates an atmosphere where education can flourish, and we are genuinely grateful for your service.
Your adaptability, professionalism, and dedication during challenging circumstances embody the true spirit of our educational community. Thank you for being exceptional role models and for stepping up to meet the needs of our students and staff. You make a meaningful impact every day, and we are so grateful for your hard work and commitment.
As we celebrate and appreciate your efforts today, please know that you are a vital part of the Brocton Central School District Bulldog Family. We are proud to have you on our team and look forward to continuing this journey of education and growth together.

Today, we celebrate the power of kindness in our school community. Small acts of kindness, like a smile, a compliment, or lending a helping hand can make a big difference in someone’s day.
Let’s take this opportunity to spread kindness in every hallway, classroom, and online space.
Together, we can build a community where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.
