Gracie in Mrs. Mutch's 2nd grade class made herself a picture and wrote a letter to tell her future self about her goals. She will seal it up and keep it until she turns 18 and open it then. This goes along with the Oh The Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss book we read yesterday for PARP! Great job Gracie. Feel free to share your students work with Ms. Tye at atye@broctoncsd.org and she can share it out for others to see.

Welcome to the first day of PARP. We are excited to see how much the kids will love all of our stories and enjoy doing different activities with your families.
Today’s story is Oh the Places You’ll Go. Today's fun fact is that it first came out in 1990 and over 12.5 million copies have been sold.
The winning class for this book is Mrs. Tiberio’s Class. They have earned a copy of the book.
Have a great first day of PARP

Brocton Elementary students have been working hard to achieve their reading goals in the online Successmaker program. Many of them met their mid year goals and were rewarded with their choice of playing outside in the snow or participating in a escape room type of game called Breakout. Here are some photos of the Breakout game, where students worked together and problem solved to find the clues they needed to unlock a box secrued with multiple locks. Math and ELA skills were also incoproated into the challenges. Each group had a great time (there were a lot of laughs and surprises)! The students were super sleuths, solving all the puzzles to unlock the locks.
