The Elementary Spring Concert is here!
Please join us on Monday, June 6th at 9:30 AM in the Leslie Rossiter Memorial Auditorium for a Spring Concert featuring all 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders and the 5th grade band!
Parents can enter the school through the auditorium entrance closest to the flagpole. The program will be about 45 minutes in length. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Bohn or Mr. Hornbuckle.
The BCS Awards Program will be Friday, June 10th, at 12:45 p.m. in the high school gym. Students receiving awards or recognition will receive a notice.

This message is to notify the community of a plant swap and giveaway hosted by the Brocton Student Council this Friday, May 20th from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM in the courtyard by the high school gym. We will be sharing annual flowers and vegetables grown by our students for you to take home and grow in your own garden or patio. Attendees are welcome to bring in some of their overgrown perennials, houseplant cuttings, or seeds they would like to share or trade. We hope to see you there!

Just a reminder that the Freshman Class of 2025 is hosting a Spring Fling Dance in the cafeteria THIS SATURDAY May 14, 2022 for students of all ages.
The adult and me dance for PK-5th grade will take place from 1-3 pm all students must have an adult with them, the middle school dance will take place from 4-6 pm for grades 6-8, and the High School dance will be from 7-10pm.
Tickets are $12 and can be purchased by visiting the website: bcsclassof2025.ticketleap.com/spring-fling/ or at the door on the day of the event.
There will be snacks, games, dancing, and photo opportunities for the students to enjoy. If you can not make it or do not have a student but would still like to support the class we encourage you to visit the website and purchase a "donation ticket" or two to show them your support.

Today is National Nurses Day and School Lunch Hero Day!
The Brocton Central School District would like to thank the nurses, Ms. Newman and Mrs. Szymanowski. Their thoughtfulness, dedication and rising to meet the needs of our students and staff during these unprecedented and challenging times are reflected in their amazing work!
The Brocton Central School District would also like to thank our School Lunch Heros Ms. Farrell, Ms. Bane, Mr. O'Brien, Mrs. Maddox, Ms. Sheldon, Mrs. Test, and Ms. Webber. These School Lunch hero's nourish the lives of our BCS students and always greet them all with a smile! "No beans" about it, our lunch staff is the best!
Brocton Elementary students have been working hard to meet their goals in Successmaker Reading. This month there was a drawing for a variety of prizes for student who met their April 1 (aka Silver Level) goal in the program. The grand prize was an electric scooter (with safety gear such as a helmet and pads). Second grader Amzie Hebner was the grand prize winner. Congratulations, Amzie!
All students who met their goal were entered in the prize drawing. They will also celebrate meeting their goal with a movie in their PJs day in May.
The following students were recognized as the top gain achievers for their grade level and received an Amazon gift card:

Third grade: Colton Blackman
Fourth grade: Chimera Burton
Fifth grade: John Spaulding
First grader Elissa McNiff was recognized for having the most time in the program and received an Amazon gift card.
Mrs. Aniszewski’s class and Mrs. Marvin’s class tied for greatest average gain as a class. Both classes will be receiving an ice cream sundae party.

Our middle school and high school music ensembles are hard at work preparing for their spring concerts! This year's HIGH SCHOOL concert is Thursday, May 12th at 7:30 pm and the MIDDLE SCHOOL concert is Tuesday, May 17th at 7:30 pm. Both concerts will be held in the auditorium. No reserve seating is necessary. Letters reviewing concert dress codes were sent home with the students last week.
