Earlier this week, the 4th and 5th graders who met their Successmaker personal reading goal celebrated with a STEM and Games party. Today and next week the first, second, and third graders who met their goal will also participate in a STEM and Games party.
This message is to inform you that the Brocton Elementary School is now accepting registrations for our PreK & Kindergarten classes for the 2024-2025 school year. Registration packets for students eligible for PreK & Kindergarten can be obtained by calling the Elementary Office at (716) 792-2100.
To be eligible for PreK, children must turn four (4) on or before December 1, 2024. To be eligible for Kindergarten, children must turn five (5) on or before December 1, 2024. When turning in your completed registration packet, a copy of your child’s birth certificate, documented immunization records and two proofs of residency are required.

Kindergarten started a unit on force and motion. The unit began with a story titled Ricky the Rock Can't Roll, where students explored and discussed why a rock may or may not roll. After they the story, they created their own inventions to help a flat piece of wood roll. Students using the engineering process to design and build the inventions, tested it on a cardboard ramp, and modified it as needed.

This message serves as a reminder that the Brocton Central School District has an early dismissal, Friday, January 26, 2024. Pre-K and Middle/High School students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m., Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m.

Brocton CSD is canceling ALL after school and evening activities for today, January 16, 2024. This includes all sports games, practices, clubs, Adult Pickleball, Fitness Center and the Pool. Please be safe in your travels this afternoon.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. there will be no school on Monday, January 15th, 2024.
Brocton CSD will be opening its locker room and shower facilities to students, their families and community members impacted by the power outages. Thursday morning from 6:00 AM until 7:15 AM the Pool and gym locker rooms will be available for shower use, and a warm facility before school starts. Please enter at the high school gym entrance.
Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is observed each year on January 9th. It is a day to show appreciation and gratitude towards the brave men and women who serve as law enforcement officers, protecting our communities and enforcing the law. The Brocton Central School District expresses their gratitude to law enforcement officers not just today, but every day.
Winter Sports picture day will be held on January 10th, 2024, at 2:30PM in the High School Gym.
There will be no elementary STEM club tomorrow, Friday January 5. STEM club will resume Friday January 12.
Seniors will be getting their cap and gown pictures taken on January 10th, 2024, in the afternoon.
