Brocton BOCES students in Mr. Stanley Saeli's science class planted milkweed plants donated by Mr. Jason Delcamp, BCS Superintendent. These plants are strategically located alongside the Chautauqua County Rails to Trails on land owned by the school. The plants will grow and attract monarch butterflies. It is the hope of the science department at the school to establish a Waystation for the butterflies, and to have this Waystation registered with the North American Butterfly Association. Mr. Saeli, BOCES and Mrs. Jodi Huber, Instructional Coach and STEM Coordinator, Brocton CSD, are working on this project together.
