www.raz-kids.com , www.samsonsclassroom.com , and www.harcourt.com.  Each of these will get to a site that the children are using in the classroom.  If you need further information, please contact me.  It is wonderful for your children if they have access to these learning sites at home also.

Homework packets are sent home on Friday and are due on Wednesday.  Spelling folders come home on Monday and are due back on Friday.  Please do not send folders early, as children should be studying every night.  When we have a short week, these schedules may change.

 
I also send home Sunshine Books which the children can read at their progress, and return to school and get another book.

We do have the ability to take Accelerated Reader tests in First Grade.  As the year progresses, I encourage the children to take tests and eventually will require them, although not to the frequency of higher grades.
