Brocton Elementary School

As an Elementary School for children in Pre Kindergarten through Grade 5, the Brocton faculty and staff are committed to meeting the needs of and challenging each student while providing every child with a firm foundation for continued scholastic and social success in a safe and comfortable learning environment.

The District offers an open pre-k program for students to assist in school readiness and transition. Experienced teachers and dedicated staff foster a child-centered program that emphasizes responsibility, character education and learning. Each grade level curriculum is aligned with the New York State Learning Standards and enriched by an innovative reading series, technology instructionand PARP. Elementary students enjoy their own library media center, as well as weekly music and art instruction. Each classroom is equipped with student computer work stations.

New windows and renovations in the classrooms have created bright, well-organized classrooms equipped with computers and supported technologies to enhance the educational experience.

Students and families benefit from an active parent/teacher association as well as tremendous school community support.
